CHECK-IN & DEPARTURE Check-in is from 3:00 PM. Departure is by 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late checkout can sometimes be arranged in advance for a fee — please ask, and treat it as confirmed only once we have confirmed it. WHO MAY STAY Everyone staying must be named on the booking, and the booking must cover the full size of your party. We cannot admit guests who were not booked, including day visitors — please ask us first if your plans change. Every guest aged 16 or over should carry valid government-issued photo ID. NO SMOKING No smoking, vaping or e-cigarettes anywhere on the property, indoors or out, by anyone staying or visiting. This is absolute. Smoke remediation is charged to the guest. QUIET HOURS, AND NO PARTIES Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. These are homes among other homes, and there is a local ordinance to this effect. No parties or events of any kind, and no amplified or loud music at any hour. PETS This home does not accept pets. Service animals are not pets, are always welcome, and are never charged a fee. PARKING Park in the spaces belonging to the unit. Please do not block neighbouring units, shared drives or fire lanes. LOOKING AFTER THE HOUSE Please do not move beds, sofas or appliances, even if you intend to put them back. Do not bring additional appliances — space heaters, portable air conditioners and dehumidifiers in particular. Report anything broken or missing when you find it, not at the end; we would much rather fix it while you are here. BEFORE YOU GO Dirty dishes in the dishwasher, used towels in the hamper, bedding left on the beds. Bag all trash, tie the bags, and put them inside the bins at the collection point described in the house guide — never on the porch, deck, lawn or driveway. Close and lock the windows, turn off the lights, and set the heating back as directed in the house guide. THIS HOUSE IN PARTICULAR ⚠️ The living-room fireplace is DECORATIVE ONLY. It is original to this 1960s house, it is not up to code, and lighting a fire in it carries a very high risk of a house fire. Do not burn anything in it — no logs, no gel cans, no candles in the firebox. The owner confirmed this on 2026-09-12 and it is the reason "Fireplace" is not listed among this home's amenities. Propane grill: it lives behind the house. Turn the gas off at the tank when you are finished, and never move it under the screened porch or any other roof. Towel warmer: the bathroom has one. Leave nothing on it when you go out.
